A Brilliant Lie and the quest for the new CD...

Hey guys! We're getting closer to our new CD. We have found the illustrious/venerable/auspicious/totally rad producer that we are beginning to work with, we're continuing to refine our tunes, and we're about to come at you with some pretty cool promotional stuff. So...

It won't be long before you see our most recent attempt to entertain you, outside of our music. Despite the hectic schedule of the months to come, we are nonetheless continuing to rock Florida in any/every way we can. We are playing tonight in Jacksonville at Burro Bar with "Take One Car" and "Rusholme Ruffians". You can check out the details HERE. Next weekend, we will be back home in Orlando to rock with "Through The Glass", "Lavola", "The Passenger", and "Lions After Dark".

If you're blessed by living in the greater Orlando area, you should come out and have a cheap beer with us and see some of these awesome bands. We wish we had more news for you, but we don't want to spoil the surprises that we are storing up (we are much better magicians than that). It's going to be like a time-release of awesomeness. If it turns out to be underwhelming, we might just give up, and use our instruments to heat our house in a fire*. If that ends up burning our house down, we will be very upset...so upset that we might never recover from the depths of unfathomable sadness. People will say, "Do you remember A Brilliant Lie?", to which the answer will be "No". We don't want that, and neither do you. Right? Until the next blog absurdity...

*Please don't make us do that. We really like playing music.

Fact of the week: You may or may not recall a series of "countdown" photos we used for our Facebook cover just before the release of our music video. Well one of these photos featured us wearing these fancy hats we collected at a totally awesome dollar store!

...at least we thought they were hats until a friend with Asian ancestry informed us that these were not awesome bamboo hats but were in fact rice cookers...

The moral of this story is that we are idiots. We hope you feel smart for the rest of the day, because we most definitely do not. The picture was cool though, right!? RIGHT!?
