Tomorrow
night at midnight we will be posting the music video for our single “Live While
Sleeping”. We are incredibly happy with how it has turned out thanks to all of
the people that worked so hard on it over the past couple of months. We can
accept credit for the song, but the video is the creation of our amazing
director Chris McDaniel and his crew. We hope you like it, because if you don’t
we’ll have to track you down and force you to watch re-runs of daytime soap
operas until you've forgotten all other forms of film/video entertainment at
which point we will show you the music video again and you will have no choice
but to like it. We will then simply state “damn straight”. So be prepared to
like it and comment on it or this will be you…
You may have noticed our photos on Facebook counting down to the video release but if you haven’t you can check them out HERE. In other
news we’d like to announce that we will be returning to the Orlando House of Blues on
December 14th to play with our good friends “Traverser”. Also on the
bill will be “Social Ghost”, “Nerver” and “Megaphone”. We are excited to play
this show and to kick off the holidays afterwards. Please email us for FREE tickets at tickets@abrilliantlie.com with your address and how many tickets you want and we will mail them to you.
In the meantime we will of course be continuing to work on new material and continuing to rocking shenanigans when possible. Please let us know what you think of the video with your comment, this will make us smile, then dance, then want ice cream, then go to get ice cream and discover a new flavor that will rock our worlds. We will of course remember though that it was not the ice cream that made us happy but your comment. Because at the end of the day we write our music for you guys... and ice cream. Fact of the
week: Since we are about to release the music video for “Live While Sleeping”
it seems appropriate to let you know an interesting fact about its inception.
When writing songs we typically come up with a temporary name for each song
until we choose an official title. It may come as no surprise but “Live While
Sleeping” was referred to as “Poop Monster” until we were physically in the
studio recording it...
Another "fact of the week": Our good friend Mark Kilmer from Beneath the Grid music got a new Tattoo...
