We are so excited to be shooting our music video for "Live While Sleeping" next weekend with Chris McDaniel. Chris is an incredibly nice and hilarious guy, so we will have to do our best not to be a bunch of goofs while filming. We will actually be shooting on Chris' (our beloved drummer's) birthday. That following Sunday we will likely have to celebrate with a barbecue, riot, or virgin sacrifice. What? Anyway, although the video won't be available for a few more weeks we have thrown a couple of slideshow videos together with the song lyrics for "Live While Sleeping" and "Death Don't Pony Up For Gas". Give them a click if you've always wanted to know a lyric but couldn't figure it out (we all find ourselves 'Garthing' lyrics from time to time).* If you just want to see some fancy pictures of us and kick the number up a little bit that's super too!
In other news we have unfortunately had to cancel a number of our previously mentioned shows in the coming months, but we will still be venturing out of state soon. As for shows in the Orlando area, we are particularly excited for this one:
These are all incredible bands that are sure to rock your ear holes! Speaking of rocking, a fellow rocker has provided us with a hilarious air guitar video we have decided to share exclusively with our blog readers!
Thanks to Emily from Andy Matchett and the Minks for sharing this with us! Lastly we wish to say a Happy Birthday to our good friend Birch Mangus. He has turned 20 for the 10th time! Birch is a dear friend that has provided more favors for A Brilliant Lie than we can ever repay. Whenever something of the band's breaks Birch fixes it. Whenever we build something he helps us make it better. Whenever Chris and I (Tim) aren't strong enough to help Zach (our beloved Bassist) lift something Birch steps in and saves they day. But most importantly Birch takes many of our photos, and does so for many local bands as well. Happy Birthday Birch, and THANK YOU!
Yes, we are very aware of how amazing his mustache is. In fact, Birch and his mustache helped us determine the line of logic that will be our fact of the week! Well, fellow rockers that will be all for this silly and rhetorical blog entry! Until next time...
Thanks for reading!

Fact of the week:
This logic is sound and cannot be argued. Please allow us to explain: Mickey Rourke was in "The Wrestler" with Marisa Tomei. Marisa Tomei was in "My Cousin Vinny" with Joe Pesci. Joe Pesci was one of the "sticky bandits", alongside Daniel Stern, in "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York". And if you recall, the "sticky bandits" drove... yes, A VAN. Behold Mickey Rourke, our new vessel for touring!
