Misters Teman and Lane along with Dame Lightfoot and myself have determined that we need to share our love for awful films with other Orlando bands. For this reason we will begin having a semi-regular event called "Movie night with A Brilliant Lie". We think it will be fun to hang out with other Orlando bands and to do something that does not involve music for a change. There are just too many undiscovered gems of cinematic atrocity that need to be shared in this world. Like this one...

Fact of the week: Although the title to this blog entry may appear meaningless it is not. A Brilliant Lie frequents a prank on local music lovers and musicians while attending local shows. We refer to this as "the one minute dance party". This ritual begins by us targeting an individual that will be the center subject to the dance party. Once the target is chosen we subtly surround the individual, and with the help of an amazing little phone app that produces a very bright strobe light, we proceed to grind "party boy" the individual for not more than 60 seconds. Though this ritual has been performed many dozens of times we do not have it captured sufficiently on video for your viewing pleasure. This is yet another reason why you should come out and support local music; to watch us be complete idiots.
